Yikes! It is hot and steamy again in the Baked Apple. Last night’s steam pipe explosion created havoc and more humidity than we already experience on a daily basis. The tests are inconclusive as to the air quality in the area but the powers that be said if you are already living there it is okay to keep breathing. Good grief.

- Al’s my pal: I confess that I have sent Al Franken money for his Senatorial bid to be the Senator of Minnesota. He sent me back a funny thank you, handwritten postcard (yes it was pre-printed). He signed it Al, your pal. Guess what? His Hollywood pals support him too.

- Oh oh - McCain decides NOT to talk about his campaign anymore. It seems the straight talk express is going silent.

- Just when you think you never have to hear about this slimy bastard he crawls out from under a rock to annoy us. Tom DeLay appeared before a group of college Repugnants. He said abortion affects you in immigration. He added, If we had those 40 million children that were killed over the last 30 years, we wouldn’t need the illegal immigrants to fill the jobs that they are doing today. Think about it. AURGH!
