Alternate Title: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to a Funeral

Story: Turning a funeral into comedy takes a deft directing hand and Frank Oz (In & Out, Bowfinger) has what it takes. When you combine those quirky English types that we have come to adore over the past few years, add some physical comedy, scatological humor and a little person you would have to have no sense of humor to not get some good hearty laughs. The screenplay by Dean Craig blends just enough of a story with all of the laughs that build to a hilarious conclusion.

The previews spoil enough of the plot without me adding to any spoilers for you. Just trust me that if you need a summer laugh or two, check out this breezy, silly romp and watch England’s upper crust go boink. To read the rest of this review and see why I gave it 7 Lobo Howls go here.
