The day after November 29, 2007

jb.jpgDid I watch the youtube Repugnant debate last night? I most certainly did not. I was at the New York Times brand new building in their auditorium designed by Renzo Piano watching a Times Talk event featuring film superstar Javier Bardem being interviewed by a most annoying Lynn Hirschburg. Javier was fabulous, charming, smart, engaging, sexy, funny and entertaining young man. He was much more exciting than any 10 candidates put together. I took the photo on the left. It does not do him justice, so go see No County for Old Men and see what this fabulous actor is all about.

gop.jpgRudy and Judy – yet another breaking ‘oh my heavens’ story about their affair, the costs and who some of those tryst expenses were billed to. Tsk, tsk, tsk. As we get closer to what promises to be a big mudslinger of an election year the muck and mire are coming down the path. Fortunately for some of us Rudy haters, their might be a new story everyday. I am sure Rudy will, as usual, say about this story that it is stuff for the gossip columns, or he was under threat of his life, or the terrorists wanted to kidnap him or some other cockamamie excuse.

Speaking of Rudy – this youtube debate question alone might sink him.

And then there is this thought provoking question –

Whose vote is this video pandering to?

If you want to see more of these youtube questions thrown at the Repugnant candidates go here.

For a review of the debate go here and here.

New York Times columnist Gail Collins sums it all up for you here.

Funny, I checked Javiers’ blog this morning and he has a picture of YOU!
He also said you look much prettier in person.
