sayah.jpgSo much to say – so early in the morning. The metropolitan area is under a weather watch today. My dog Benny and I walked through an inch of snow at 6AM in an empty, but beautiful Madison Square Park. I imagine lots of people will be spending time at home, on their computers and/or watching TV today. I have spent a lot of time recently at the dentist – aurgh! Therefore, today’s photo extravaganza is all about ‘say ahh and open wide’. Scroll down to the bottom of this post to see the rest of these photos.

– File this under ‘You can’t make this stuff up’ zone: Remember those fake FEMA reporters? Well, guess what? They were promoted. Yup – promoted

– File this under ‘no comment’ from Lobo – Imus is coming back to the airwaves Monday. Follow the money stupid!

– File this under, huh? It seems that some Evangelical Christians are making a left turn. I repeat, huh?

– We already know enough about Rudy and Judy, says Joe Conason. Now is the time to ask questions about Giuliani Partner’s relationship with terrorists. Oh my!

– What’s a Sunday without a mention of Keith Olbermann. Last week he discussed John Murtha‘s most recent statements about the surge and what he really said.

– This wild video shows some death defying activity in Mountain Wingsuits. After viewing it you might agree with me that these guys are wingNUTS!

– Fasten your seat belts – Mike Huckabee says that G-d is responsible for his rise in the polls.

– Remember Jack Abramoff? He looks stunning in orange these days. Surprisingly, the Bushies are stonewalling producing records of Abramoff’s visits to the White House. Should you care? I do.

– Rudy is Buzzflash’ Hypocrite of the Week:

– Check out my video about a very energetic prairie dog:

– File this under ‘your head might explode’: About 12,000 soldiers have been butt kicked out of the military because they are gay and would not stand for the insane ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy:

– The trifecta this Sunday for you: Frank Rich, Maureen Dowd and Thomas Friedman.

– Via Cousin Steve (he is Tips and Tweaks in my blogroll): There’s a show on C-SPAN about presidential libraries. Here’re what the draft plans for the George W. Bush Library now call for:

The Alberto Gonzales Room – Where you can’t remember any of the exhibits.

The Hurricane Katrina Room – It’s still under construction.

The Texas Air National Guard Room – Where you don’t have to even show up.

The Walter Reed Hospital Room – Where they don’t let you in.

The Guantanamo Bay Room – Where they don’t let you out.

The Weapons of Mass Destruction Room – Nobody has been able to find it.

The War in Iraq Room – After you complete your first tour, they can force you to go back for your second and third and fourth and fifth tours.

The K-Street Project Gift Shop – Where you can buy an election, or, if no one cares, steal one.

The Men’s Room – Where you could meet a Republican Senator (or two).

To be fair, the President has done some good things, and so the museum will have an electron microscope to help you locate them.

When asked, President Bush said that he didn’t care so much about the individual exhibits as long as his museum was better than his father’s.
