Do you think the good people of Pennsylvania will suffer from a collective case of postpartum depression now that the TV crews, the photographers, the pollsters and all of the attention is moving to North Carolina and Indiana? How many interviews will we have to see watching John Edwards of North Carolina NOT give an endorsement? How many editorials will we read for Hillary to ‘do the right thing’ and withdraw form the race? How do I predict thee? Let me count all of the ways. Last night’s predicted ten point victory in PA by Hillary over Barack was a general ho hum for most of us who stopped listening to the drooling talking heads on TV and just used our brains. I totally disagree with the NY Times Editorial today calling for Hillary to take the high road in her campaign. I can’t remember a campaign in modern times that was nuanced, clean or devoid of muck. I think everyone simply wants her to quit the race and give the nomination to Obama. We can stand another month of campaigning. We have suffered through a stolen election, a loss of civil rights, habeus corpus, a thuggish administration who tortures, lies and steals and now they are worried about a little mud in the ring? Nonsense.

– There was a small article in yesterday’s Times about Julie Nixon Eisenhower‘s support of Barack Obama. Anything that would make Nixon turn over in in grave makes me happy.

– Those death bed conversions are usual great fodder for film. I enjoyed this exchanged between Hillary and Keith the other night.

– This story has legs (and teeth).
Police are recommending that prosecutors charge a victim in last year’s tiger mauling at San Francisco Zoo with seven felony counts related to four separate shoplifting incidents in Alameda County. Amritpal Dhaliwal, a 19-year-old San Jose man who goes by the first name Paul, is accused of stealing electronic equipment and video games from Target stores in San Leandro, Hayward and Livermore. The Dhaliwal brothers filed a notice of claim — a precursor to a lawsuit — against the city of San Francisco and the zoo, alleging defamation and negligence, just hours before Paul Dhaliwal’s March 27 arrest at a San Leandro Target store. Security there allegedly noticed him stuffing two Nintendo Wii video game controllers into his pants.

– And who does not like to watch elephants swim?
