Bumper Sticker Cover-Up August 7, 2008

Posted by judylobo in Politics, Videos.

My friend, Bumper Sticker Ruth, earned that moniker back in 2004 when the Repugnants invaded NYC for the re-coronation of the thug-in-chief. Ruth, made it her business to stick John Kerry bumper Stickers on the huge Academy buses that parked in her neighborhood. Those buses carried the Repugnants on their sight seeing trips around Manhattan. The conventioneers were restricted to ‘safe’ protest free zones so that they would not be harassed by the millions of Dems, like Bumper Sticker and me. She would slap those John Kerry stickers on the buses and chalk up one for the good guys. Hence, I renamed her, Bumper Sticker Ruth and the name and the reputation have stuck these past four years. You go girl!

Now it seems others have jumped on this impish bandwagon. “Florida has not been treating John McCain’s campaign vessel, the Straight Talk Express, very well in the past two days. Since Tuesday the bus has been involved in a collision with a minivan and was photographed carrying a bumper sticker for Barack Obama.”

– Speaking of buses – that insane story out of Canada has a follow-up.  Greyhound has scrapped an ad campaign that extolled the relaxing upside of bus travel after one of its passengers was accused of beheading and cannibalizing another traveler. The ad’s tag line was “There’s a reason you’ve never heard of ‘bus rage.'”

– Here is another example of the growing need to re-bumper. Watch as a life long Republican woman covers up George W Bush bumper stickers with Barack Obama stickers.
