javierccJust in case you are keeping track and getting ready for the all important Lobo Oscar Pool, here are the 2009 Critics Choice Awards Nominees & Winners of last night’s presentation. I admit that I did not watch the presentation but am always interested in who is grabbing up the booty prior to the Oscars. For some gossip and photos go here. And no, Javier Bardem did not win an award last night – I just like him and wanted to show you a photo of him from last year holding the award.

From their website: The Broadcast Film Critics Association is the largest film critics organization in the United States and Canada, representing 199 television, radio and online critics. Our collective membership is the primary source of information for today’s entertainment consumers. The very first opinion a moviegoer hears about new releases at the multiplex or the art house usually comes from one of our members. Founded in 1995, the BFCA presents its Critics’ Choice Awards each year to honor the finest achievements in filmmaking.
