hangonDespite my stuffy nose and other annoying things about having a head cold the excitement of the impending Inauguration cheers me up. Everybody just hang on – change is coming. Hillary Clinton did just fine in front of the Senate Committee yesterday. I am betting that every one of Obama’s picks will sail through confirmation (even Tim Geithner). If you missed Jon Stewart’s advice to Obama on future press conferences, check out this funny clip.

–  Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell have reached a tentative agreement that would give Democrats a three-seat advantage on most committees during the 111th Congress. Wa-hoo!

–  If you missed the story about James Madison High School’s (my alma mater) Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders on the Bush formal portrait for the Smithsonian? He asked the Smithsonian to correct the caption under the official portrait of President Bush so it no longer claims that 9/11 led to the war in Iraq. It is the third story in Keith’s clip.
