cpzblog315Like the above photos? If you want to know more about some of the individual animals at the Central Park Zoo that are often featured in my weekly montages there is now a place where you can access that information.

I have joined the ‘team’ at centralpark.com and am responsible for the Zoo section on this very informative and current site. If you go to the site and click on the ‘Zoo’ tab you will see zoo photos, up to date information on the number of animals in a species, what they eat, where they live in the wild, where to find them at the Zoo and some fun facts.

There is a convenient, easy to use menu on the left hand side. Just click and learn some more stuff. There are over 70 species listed from the tiniest of leafcutter ant to our celebrity polar bears, Gus and Ida.

You can easily join the site for free and get a weekly newsletter that will keep you updated on everything that is going on in Central Park and in the Zoo. There are contests, games, pretty photos and more.  The newest member of the Zoo’s collection could very well be a baby doll lamb. I will check it out later this week. Do me a favor and check out this site. Thanks.

This just cracked me up.

Congratulations. Now we get to see a wider scope of the animals you know and photograph so well on more sites which is terrific.
They are fortunate to have you as an addition to their team.
